With the tool-less quick-change cage assembly and choice of hardened steel cutter, carbide cutters or special milling flails with tungsten blades, you can change the function of the machine in only minutes. Uses of the SC 8.5 range from traffic line removal, sidewalk repairs, coating preparation, removal of epoxy and urethane coatings, creating non-slip surfaces, grinding high spots to cleaning floors of dirt and oils.

The six-shaft configuration allows for: (1) more cutters per loading and increased grinding action, (2) fewer cutter changes and more production plus (3) smoother drum rotation which leads to less machine vibration.
